Our Team

Dr. J. Erin Shewring is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of The Ohio State University College of Optometry, where she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2005 and completed a residency in Primary Care Optometry.

Dr. Shewring provides comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages, with special interests in ocular disease, myopia management, surgical co-management, and family eye care. She is passionate about helping patients see clearly and maintain healthy vision throughout every stage of life.

Committed to serving her community, Dr. Shewring volunteers with InfantSEE, a public health program that provides no-cost eye assessments for infants, and iSee Clinics, which offers eye examinations to students in local schools. She is also an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Ohio Optometric Association.

Outside the office, Dr. Shewring enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, learning to play tennis, and cuddling with Piper, her sweet Cavapoo puppy.

Dr. Jessica Lybarger earned both her Bachelor’s degree and Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University. She provides comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages, with special interests in family eye care, myopia management for children, ocular disease, and surgical co-management.

Having called Columbus home for nearly 25 years and being part of the practice for more than 15 years, Dr. Lybarger values the lasting relationships she has built with patients and families in the community. She enjoys caring for patients of all ages and is passionate about educating them on the importance of ocular health and the latest advancements in vision care technology.

Dr. Lybarger is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Ohio Optometric Association.

Outside the office, Dr. Lybarger enjoys spending time with her husband and two young sons, keeping up with their many activities and adventures.

Lea has been a Licensed Dispensing Optician since 1998 and has been a valued member of our practice for more than 20 years. As our Office Manager, she oversees the daily operations of the practice while also sharing her extensive knowledge of the optical field. Lea stays up to date on the latest advancements in eyeglass frames and lens technology and is dedicated to helping patients find eyewear that meets both their vision needs and personal style.

Tika is one of the friendly faces who welcomes patients to our office. As our receptionist and one of our billing specialists, she assists with check-in and check-out, verifies vision and medical insurance benefits, and helps ensure each visit runs smoothly. Tika is dedicated to providing excellent customer service and making every patient feel welcome from the moment they arrive.
